Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms are established to regulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, and other necessary matters related to the use of the Somoon (SOMOON) service (hereinafter “Service”) provided by Wugle Inc. (hereinafter “Company”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means the friend invitation event (referral event) platform service provided by the Company.
- “User” means a person who uses the Company’s service.
- “Manager” means an individual who is an employee or agent of the business with legitimate authority to directly use the platform on behalf of the business to perform event creation and operation tasks for customers.
- “Customer” means the counterparty participating in events created and operated by the manager through the platform.
- “Credit” means the virtual currency unit charged for service use.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes of Terms)
- These terms take effect for all users who wish to use the service.
- The Company may change these terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws.
- When terms are changed, the Company will notify the changes through the service’s notice board 7 days before the effective date.
- If users do not agree to the changed terms, they may discontinue service use and withdraw.
Article 4 (Service Provision)
The Company provides the following services:
- Friend invitation event (referral event) creation and operation platform
- Event participant management system
- Reward distribution system
- Dashboard and analysis tools
The service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as a principle.
The Company may conduct regular inspections when necessary for service provision, and regular inspection times follow those announced on the service provision screen.
Article 5 (Service Suspension)
- The Company may temporarily suspend service provision when reasons such as maintenance, replacement, and failure of computers and other information and communications equipment, or communication interruption occur.
- The Company compensates for damages suffered by users or third parties due to temporary suspension of service provision due to the reasons in paragraph 1. However, this does not apply if the Company proves that there was no intent or negligence.
Article 6 (Registration)
- Users apply for registration by filling out the registration form prescribed by the Company and expressing their intention to agree to these terms.
- The Company registers as members those who apply for membership as described in paragraph 1, except for those who fall under any of the following:
- Applicants who have previously lost membership qualifications under these terms
- Cases where registration contents contain falsehood, omission, or errors
- Other cases where registration as a member is judged to significantly hinder the Company’s technology
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)
- Members may request withdrawal from the Company at any time, and the Company will process the withdrawal immediately.
- If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the Company may restrict or suspend membership qualifications:
- Registration of false contents during application
- Interfering with others’ service use or stealing their information, etc., threatening e-commerce order
- Using the service to perform acts prohibited by laws or these terms or contrary to public order and morals
Article 8 (Member Obligations)
- Members shall not perform the following acts:
- Registration of false contents during application or changes
- Stealing others’ information
- Changing information posted by the Company
- Sending or posting information other than that prescribed by the Company (computer programs, etc.)
- Infringing on copyrights and other intellectual property rights of the Company or other third parties
- Acts that damage the reputation of the Company or other third parties or interfere with business
- Acts of posting obscene or violent messages, images, sounds, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the service
Article 9 (Company Obligations)
- The Company shall not perform acts prohibited by relevant laws and these terms or contrary to public order and morals, and shall strive to provide services continuously and stably in accordance with these terms.
- The Company shall establish security systems for protecting users’ personal information (including credit information) and post and comply with privacy policies to enable users to safely use internet services.
- The Company shall immediately process opinions or complaints raised by users related to service use if they are objectively recognized as justifiable. However, if immediate processing is difficult, the reason and processing schedule shall be immediately notified to users.
Article 10 (Personal Information Protection)
- The Company shall establish and comply with privacy policies to protect users’ personal information.
- Detailed matters regarding collection, use, provision, entrustment, and destruction of personal information are prescribed in the privacy policy.
Article 11 (Credits)
- Credits are virtual currency units charged for service use, where 1 credit = 1 won.
- Credits can be charged through credit cards or bank transfers.
- Credits are deducted in real-time in the following cases:
- 500 won for referral participation
- Gift card distribution (based on gift card face value)
- Other additional services
Article 12 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is exempt from responsibility for service provision when the service cannot be provided due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
- The Company is not responsible for service use obstacles due to users’ fault.
- The Company is not responsible for users’ loss of expected profits from using the service, or damages from materials obtained through the service.
Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)
- The Company shall establish and operate damage compensation processing organizations to reflect users’ justifiable opinions or complaints and process damage compensation.
- Disputes arising between the Company and users regarding e-commerce may be subject to mediation by the Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee.
Article 14 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
- Korean law shall apply to disputes arising between the Company and users.
- Korean courts shall be the competent court for lawsuits filed between the Company and users.
Supplementary Provisions
These terms apply from June 1, 2023.
